Cobia is known by many names, including: black kingfish, black salmon, cabio, crabeater, cubby yew, kingfish, lemon fish, ling, prodigal son, runner, sergeant fish, and sergeant fish. They are predators and feed on shrimp, crab, other fish and crustaceans. Cobia are a delicious eating fish with flakey white meat that has a buttery tasted to it. It is great to use for fish and chips, tacos, grilled and many other ways.
